How to get on Garb: take the fast ride through, then catch the massive eddy on river left and sneak back in behind the rock to slide on to the wave for a trashy ride. Enter high, ferry to foam on river right, using it to slow your momentum, and then angle on to the face of the wave. It's a fast ride that takes a bit of getting used to but once you're there, spins, blunts, backstabs and more are all possible. Here, Jeff Walton finishes a clean spin.
