GOT OLD GEAR?
Wild Rock has teamed up with Family Services of Haliburton County (home of the Gull River), to recycle used paddling gear to help out young paddlers. Donations to the W.E.R.K. will get you a tax receipt that could help out on your income tax. They're looking for boats, skirts, paddles, paddling jackets and PFDs. Donations can be made at the Palmer River and Gull River festivals, or at the Boat WERKs in Minden. Call Greg Shantz at (705) 457-5345.
