Main use: playboat, river runner
Riot's take: For 2002, we have taken one of the most successful playboats of recent history and improved it. We have removed almost a gallon out of each end of the kayak, making it slicier. Slicier ends mean more control in holes and on the flats. But what separates the Disco from other short boats is the high volume centre for ultra retentiveness and explosive aerials in holes and on waves! The Disco remains the loosest, easiest to aerial short playboat in the world - and definitely the most FUN!

| pros: | Good volume distribution. Will run rivers better than my 240/Prankster. Plays better than anything else I've paddled! |
| cons: | A bit tight for me at 6'2". Not convinced by the plastic and outfitting quality yet... I'll get back to you |
| other: | no comment |

| pros: | This boat is a great boat for a beginner to lear to surf on. Overall, the disco is amazing on the wave, with increadible spinning abilities. With it being increadibly stable and having no-catch edges, this boat is the perfect playboat for beginners and advanced boaters alike. The disco is also a great back-surfing playboat. |
| cons: | My only issue with the disco is that the nose did not seem to have enough rocker (upward tilt). I would catch the green water on some waves and especially in many holes, but other than that, NO COMPLAINTS!!! |
| other: | The thigh straps are a love/hate issue for many paddlers. I personally loved them. They provided support while remaining very comfortable. And hey, with the volume and length, it is not a bad creeker as well... (for a playboat) |
