| pros: | Great kayak; well fitted out, and easy to paddle. Comfortable, and light weight enough to carry with reasonable ease. I had 2 fibre-glass 12' kayaks before, and now have this Rotobat, and a 2nd plastic kayak that is 12', this is the easiest of the lot to paddle. A very agile boat. |
| cons: | Not great in big surf, and pointless even trying without a spray deck. Not as fast on flat water as pointed fibre-glass Kayaks, but this could be due to the rounded ends, as it does not cut through the waves. |
| other: | Definitely worth having a boyancy aid/ air bag in the back of the boat, and polystyrene boyancy in the front. |
