(enjoys mostly river running and rates this boat 7 /10)
pros:slicey ends. fast. can throw the ends in flatwater, but it takes a lot
cons:uncomfortable as hell...if you have one try taking the bulk head out and wedging a thin block of stiff foam under the center down towards your feet, so you can rest your heels on that and your toes can hang free.
other:it's a little outdated as far as combinging maneuverability and comfort goes

(enjoys mostly playboating and rates this boat 8 /10)
pros:Good beginners playboat - particularly for a larger paddler. Although at under 12 stone i find myself a little light to do some moves in this boat, i find that it surfs and carves well. Has enough control and volume for me to feel happy running big rivers.
cons:Although its outfitting was good for its time its alittle behind now, and this is the main difference between the prozone and the s8.
other:Outfitting and plastic seems solid - built to last. Not just a park and play boat, although it will do that.

(enjoys mostly playboating and rates this boat 9 /10)
pros:Great beginners boat! - Great boat for a large paddler and it surfs and carves good.I am 5"11' at 195 to 205 pds and i realy like playing in this boat it has good volume and i can still throw it around.and for the beginner it is pretty easy to roll.i agree that it would make a great beginner play boat.I realy like mine but had to do alot of outfitting to get foot room.
cons:Not the best outfitting but not the worst either and the outfitting is tough and will last.but had to do some customizing in outfitting in bow for some foot room.but most play boats are like that and the performance out weighs that problem.
other:I heard that it was hard to learn in but i disagree.yes it is a little grabby and responsive.it just takes time as all play boats do and its worth the time and effort to learn this boat because it can perform once you can get the feeling (hang)of it.this is the boat i learned in and i dont plan on getting rid of it and i would buy another without hesitation.
