Prijon: Release

specs:
length width vol. weight cockpit capacity material 1st yr last yr:
6 ft 6 24.75 in 46.75 gal 33.00 lbs 33.75 by 19.25 n/a n/a 2003 n/a

Main use: rodeo

Prijon's take:
Still at the prototype stage as of late November, the Release is Prijon's newest rodeo boat. Designed by New Zealand's Kenny Mutton, the Release is not as flat as the Delirium and so it is easier to use while being quite fast for its length.

(enjoys mostly playboating and rates this boat 10 /10)
pros:excellent short playboat. currently paddle a G-force 5.9 and like the feel of this boat a little better. seems to make the moves with just a little less concentration required.
cons:didn't really notice any if a short playboat is your bag. probably several drawbacks for other types of boating; but that's why we all have two or three boats!
other:paddled Kenny's glass/kevlar original on the Kaituna in NZ over the Holidays. the production plastic model may not be quite as crisp but I was impressed and may pick one up to keep my Delirious company.

pros:Loose, easy to control excelent surf etc.
cons:footrest system: doesn't give the ultimate comfort, space for the happy2 is a problem on pre 2004 mod..
other:no comment
