| lee j (paddles mostly playboating) (10 /10) | |
| pros: | super slicey, easy to keep on bow, loads of foot room, comfortable, easy to keep on the stern and even looks nice! |
| cons: | backrest system needs work, theres no thigh braces, maybe a little too much room. the bow burries alot therefor long distance is not best. |
| other: | being on the weight boundary at 220 lbs i was able to really test this boat to its limit. i found it to be on of the most easily vertical going boats that i have paddled. i found that the boat i was paddleing had no footrests or thiegh braces so i was forever falling about inside the boat.my size 13 feet were not a problem at all which i found quite supprising as the ends are very low in volume. i only had about half an hour with this cartwheel machine and was fairly impressed with its overall performance. due to its huge dip in the bow this 7.3f beauty was very stable once on end. my weight played a big part in this as i am able to through it around easily. i only got to paddle this on a small wier so massive moves were out of the question but i still had enough hull speed to pull off a few small blunts, cartwheels and splats. all the rest of my time was devoted to flat water stuff like flatwheels, big stalls and the odd flat water cartwheel. overall i found this boat a joy but does need work on areas such as backrest system, thigh braces and a water release bung would not go a miss! |
